I am interested in getting the second option ($2,000 Price Point), I would like to know if someone has worked with this hardware for Vmware ESXi 5.5 before buying the components. If anyone has any feedback about this hardware please let me know your comments.

I have had 2 of these servers running ESXi 5.5 for 12 months now. I originally had 430w PSUs but had issues with the onboard NICs. Once I upgraded the PSUs to 750w those issues went away.
I also use the Netgear XS708E switch for 10GbE with my lab.

Any chance that you could add a “last updated” date to the list? I know you indicated that it will be updated quarterly but an actual date would help determine how old the list is.
